This year's graduating class embodies what Cristo Rey Brooklyn High School is all about—an education that gains them access to top colleges and universities, and the vision to chart their own course to a successful future.

Cristo Rey Brooklyn High School is featured in The New York Times, highlighting the growing challenge of access to affordable, high-quality education.

The event brought together Corporate Work Study partners, donors, families, faculty and staff, board members, alumni, and supporters united by a shared commitment to creating brighter futures for Cristo Rey Brooklyn students.

The $600,000 grant will fund investments in academic support, student professional training, and mentorship for students and alumni.

The distinction recognizes demonstrated excellence across three key areas, including College Culture, College Credit, and College Optimization—CRB is one of 14 schools in the Cristo Rey Network to be awarded.

Leytitia transferred to Cristo Rey Brooklyn as a junior, after living in Haiti for the last 15 years. Here, she found classmates eager to learn where she came from—and a community that helped her see where she’s going.

The three organizations and insurance industry partners will mark the launch of InsureFutures program at St. John’s Maurice R. Greenberg School of Risk Management, Insurance and Actuarial Science on October 29, 2025.
