Leytitia's Story
Leytitia '26 transferred to Cristo Rey Brooklyn as a junior, after living in Haiti for the last 15 years. Here, she found classmates eager to learn where she came from—and a community that helped her see where she’s going.
This year, Leytitia is enjoying every moment of her work study assignment at the Brooklyn Hospital Center. She has a 3.7 GPA and is applying to top colleges to study biology and become an anesthesiologist—following in the footsteps of her grandmother, a pediatrician who inspired her to serve others.

For almost two decades, Cristo Rey Brooklyn has been a story of inspiration and opportunity. As friends, graduates, parents, faculty, and supporters, you are an important part of the community that makes this possible.
—Michael Motyl, President and CEO of Cristo Rey Brooklyn High School
