Cristo Rey Brooklyn High School was recognized with a Silver Distinction by the College Board on the 2025 AP School Honor Roll, celebrating the school's access to Advanced Placement (AP) coursework while delivering strong outcomes for students.
To be recognized on the AP School Honor Roll, schools must demonstrate excellence across three key areas:
College Culture: Students are enrolling in and succeeding in AP courses
College Credit: Students are earning qualifying scores on AP exams
College Optimization: Students are taking multiple AP exams to strengthen college readiness
Across the Cristo Rey Network, 14 schools were named to the 2025 AP Honor Roll, a sign of the substantial collective effort these schools make toward preparing students for success in higher education and beyond.
“This recognition reflects the hard work of our students, educators, and school leaders who are committed to academic excellence,” said Sarah Gallagher, Chief Academic Officer at the Cristo Rey Network. “By expanding access to AP coursework and surrounding our students with the support they need to succeed, our schools are opening doors to college and preparing students to use their unique God-given gifts and talents for purpose and impact in the world.”
