PRESIDENT JOB DESCRIPTION AND EXPECTATIONS

 

Cristo Rey Brooklyn High School (“CRBHS”) is seeking to hire a dynamic and inspirational leader to serve as the school’s next President.

 

The President reports to the CRBHS Board of Directors and serves as the visionary leader and institutional spokesperson to all school constituencies.  The President is directly responsible for ensuring sufficient resources, sound fiscal management, and financial stability of the school through direct oversight of the school’s operations. 

 

The President’s leadership team includes the following direct reports:

 

  • Principal

  • Director of Operations for the Corporate Work-Study Program

  • Director of Business Development for the Corporate Work Study Program

  • Director of Advancement

  • Director of Operations

  • Director of Admissions

 

The President embodies and promotes the Mission, Vision, good reputation, and values of the school.

 

As a member of the nationally recognized Cristo Rey Network, CRBHS’ model is unlike any secondary school in New York City (save its Manhattan based affiliate) and thus the position of President of CRBHS requires a unique set of skills and experience.  This position requires the President to have demonstrable business acumen, strategic vision, strong external presence, and to recognize and promote the value of a Catholic school for students of all faiths.
