Corporate Work Study Program

Our Corporate Work Study (CWS) Program is an innovative educational, and financial model that functions as an employment agency within our school. This agency allows students to earn their way through a private, college preparatory education while simultaneously being exposed to invaluable, and professional work experience.

Cristo Rey Brooklyn has partnered with dozens of leading businesses - law firms, higher education institutions and various civic, philanthropic and governmental entities - across NYC. These partnerships  allow students to earn more than 50% of the cost of their education by attending school 4 days a week and working in an entry-level position 1 day per week.

The Cost of a 4-year CRB Education

Now more than ever, the cost of a private education is out of reach for many. Through the CWS program, our students earn up to 50% of the cost of their education. The remaining amount is covered 40% through our funding efforts and 10% through tuition and other fees.

Maintaining a rigorous college preparatory education

In accordance with academic scheduling, our student body works on different days according to their grade level. Students attend classes four days out of the five day work week and one day go to work at one of our corporate partners from approximately 9:30am to 4:45pm.

For Partners

Ways to partner with us:

3. VOLUNTEER

Volunteering with our students is a great way for Corporations to give back to their local communities. By sharing their talent, and time, corporate employees enable our students to increase their network.

2. SPONSOR

Due to funding, many organizations and non-profits in the area are unable to hire a team. Help us, help them by sponsoring a team, and in the process enable our students to give back to their community.

1. HIRE

Hiring a team is the best way to not only expose our students to the work force but also invest in opportunities that remove the racial and social barriers that prevent our students from interning in major firms
